Academic Structure
ACADEMIC STRUCTURE

Academic structure is organized to ensure continuous education at IUM.

Pre-University education

Lyceum (the last three years of high school) was established in 1995 and became the first nongovernmental educational institution to acquire state accreditation for Lyceum status. The Lyceum's curriculum has been developed by its teaching staff. It, therefore, meets the requirements of both high-school educational standards and pre-university preparation with an emphasis on economics and liberal arts. Upon graduation from the Lyceum, students receive the state high-school diploma. Lyceum graduates are given special consideration for entering International University in Moscow.

Preparatory School is almost as old as the University itself. For the majority of International University students it was the first step on the way to the University. While concentrating on junior and senior high-school students, the Preparatory School trains the applicants for the unusual entrance exams, such as the English test (TOEFL analog) and the complex test (SAT analog). It also provides preparation programs for GMAT, FCE, and CAE international exams.
